The first thing parents need to ask is… “What is the appropriate diet for my children?” The recommended diet for a child includes:

  • Fruits and Vegetables: 4-5 servings
  • Milk and Dairy products: 2-3 servings
  • Breads and Cereals: 5 servings
  • Meat and Meat Alternatives: 2 servings
